Bold Predictions for 2019

Someone outside the Top 50 in the world wins the British Open.

It’s been a number of years since a lesser-known player has won one of golf’s big 4.  Overseas at the Open Championship, it hasn’t been since 2003 and 2004 when Ben Curtis and Todd Hamilton won back to back Opens.  I’m saying that changes this year when a random European wins the Claret Jug.
